The New York Association of Business Brokers (NYABB) was formed in 1993 by a
dedicated team of business brokers interested in developing an organization to
promote and improve the many services that business brokers provide to
facilitate the exit planning and business transfer process.
NYABB is comprised, not only of business brokers and business intermediaries, but also of highly qualified affiliate members, including business transaction attorneys, CPAs, financial planners, appraisers, lenders and more. These affiliates provide a solid network of proven professionals whose services directly enhance our broker’s ability to achieve the goals of our clients.
NYABB provides its broker members with access to one of the most effective multiple-listing support systems in the United States. This system enables our members to share a common business-for-sale database which significantly expedites the sales process. The New York Association of Business Brokers (NYABB) is an affiliate member of the International Association of Business Brokers (IBBA) and as such requires all NYABB members to strictly abide by the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice promulgated by the IBBA.
Additionally, through periodic educational/informational meetings, our annual spring conference, and frequent teleconferences, all members are provided the resources to achieve and maintain the highest levels of professional development possible.
The New York Association of Business Brokers (NYABB) is a not-for-profit organization formed to:
Nurture the professional development of its members through educational opportunities.
Create a platform of ethics and standards of practice that enhances the public view of business brokers as trusted professional advisors.
Establish a highly efficient and cost-effective business transfer marketplace.
